Uzbekistan establishes Society of investment and financial analysts

The Capital Market Development Agency of Uzbekistan has announced the enrollment of members to the Society of Investment and Financial Analysts (SIFA).

The main objective of SIFA is creating a platform for investment and financial market participants, exchange of their experience and knowledge, discussion of current problems and solutions, enhancing professional qualification aimed at the development of all financial market segments in Uzbekistan.

Furthermore, the Capital Market Development Agency is starting to cooperate with the Corporate Finance Institute (CFI, Canada), and will be facilitating the successful completion of certified programs to capital market participants of Uzbekistan. CFI programs provide skills in financial modelling, business valuation, investment risk analysis, and the principles of securities markets.

«Within the framework of cooperation, the CMDA will facilitate the successful completion of courses and increasing the number of professionally certified analysts by providing all kinds of support to students during registration and in the learning process, as well as organizing the translation of some of the educational material into Uzbek and Russian,” – noted Atabek Nazirov, Director of the CMDA.
